Touch controls

• Left thumb: a joystick appears wherever you touch. Push it further to run.
• Right side of the screen: drag to look around.
• Big round button: hold to dig with your current tool. Drag it while holding to aim at the same time.
• Hand button: appears when you can pick something up or trade.
• Jump button: hop onto ledges and over loose hay.
• Detector button: switch to the metal detector once you own one.
• Toolbar at the top: tap a slot to switch tools.

Add it to your home screen

For a full-screen, app-like experience, add the game to your home screen. On iPhone, tap the Share button in Safari and choose Add to Home Screen. On Android, open the Chrome menu and choose Add to Home screen or Install app.

Your progress on a phone

The game saves automatically in your phone's browser every few seconds, including every tunnel you've dug. Saves stay on that device, so if you also play on a computer, use Settings → Export save on one and Import save on the other to carry your progress across.

Getting it running smoothly

• The game picks a graphics level for your device automatically. If it feels slow, choose Low in Settings.
• Close other heavy apps and browser tabs.
• Private/incognito tabs may not keep your save after you close them.
